Make A Tribute

Every adoptee life holds a story worthy of being remembered, honored, and carried forward.

Adoptee Remembrance Day offers the opportunity to make a tribute in honor or memory of an adoptee who has impacted your life. A tribute can remember an adoptee who has died, honor an adoptee who is still here, acknowledge someone whose life has been impacted by suicide, addiction, mental health struggles, abuse, grief, separation trauma, or other difficult realities, or simply celebrate an adoptee who means something to you.

Tributes can also be made in honor of the adoptee community as a whole or in support of the mission and ongoing work of Adoptee Remembrance Day. You do not have to be remembering someone who has died to make a tribute.

When you make a tribute, you will have the opportunity to share the name of the person or cause you are honoring and a short message about what your tribute means to you. You may also let us know if you would be comfortable with Adoptee Remembrance Day potentially sharing your tribute publicly. While we cannot guarantee that every tribute will be published or shared, each one will be received with care and respect.

Your tribute also helps sustain the year-round work of Adoptee Remembrance Day, including remembrance efforts, adoptee storytelling, contributor honorariums, education, awareness, outreach, research, the Wall of Remembrance, and the continued work of bringing attention to adoptee suicide, grief, loss, abuse, addiction, mental health struggles, and other serious realities affecting adoptee lives.

Tribute contributions are securely processed through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to participate. Payment options through PayPal may also include debit or credit cards, Venmo and Apple Pay, depending on your device and availability.

Thank you for helping us remember adoptees we have lost, honor adoptees who are still here, and remind the world that adoptee lives and stories matter.

Every tribute carries an adoptee name, an adoptee story, a memory, or a reason.
