Our first annual Adoptee Remembrance Day – October 30th was this past Friday, and it was a huge success. We’re exceptionally thankful for all those who participated in the day. This day wasn’t limited to the USA or a particular location. It was opened up to the entire world to participate, and they did just that.
While the entire concept for the day is on the heavy side, we’re so happy that so many people collectively came together to shine a light on the darker side of adoption. If you missed it, please click here to learn more.
We’re so happy with the turnout we received in adoptees sharing the stories of adoptees who have passed by suicide, and those who have died at the hands of their adoptive parents. We were able to connect with adoptees sharing their expressions on Adoptee Remembrance Day and the adoptee experience worldwide. Non-adopted individuals participated, which was humbling on many levels. We’re so thankful for your bravery in sharing such painful stories and pouring your hearts out.
